The Financial Analyst position will support the Gainesville operations with pricing and equipment operations analysis. This individual will also be responsible for providing reliable reporting and key metrics to upper management that supports the strategy of The Harris Products Group. The role will also be responsible for administering the execution of pricing for our retail division.


Key Deliverables (Hybrid)

Execution of reports to drive financial data to HPG Management

Responsible for our Rretail division's pricing administration which may inlcude loading pricing determined by divisional leaders into ERP system and supportingexternal E-commerce pricing management.

Reviewing pricing reports such as low margin, price override and Special Order Custom Build for changes and approval.  

Excess and Obsolete Inventory Reductions: Assist sales and operations teams with inventory that is slow-moving and/or obsolete.

Assist Operations with cost justifications for appropriations requests and submit requests to Accounting.

Review and release Equipment Credit Memo Requests and assist with the RMA (Return Material Authorization) process.

Ad-Hoc sales and margin analyses along with breakeven analyses.

Accounts payable follow-up and resolution as needed with Harris vendors.

Assist Operations with setting annual labor and overhead rates for the Gainesville facility.

Partner with Gainesville Management to establish realistic cost center annual budgets.

Physical inventory support and backup.

New Product Launch Financial Analyses

Month-End Close Support (i.e. Conversion Cost Reporting and Monthly Sales Reports)

Limited with possibilty of around 15% annually


Education and/or Experience 


Required: BBA-Bachelor of Business Administration

Preferred: Focus in Accounting or Finance.

Preferred: (2) years’ experience in Finance or Accounting
