The Marketing Specialist position is responsible for digital content for the companies various websites and digital systems.  Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for providing high quality and accurate digital marketing support for content authoring, publishing, maintenance and measurement across Harris global web sites, catalogs and associated applications while ensuring strategy and execution are aligned with business objectives, goals and timelines.

 

Website Content                                                                                                                                                             

  • Responsible for maintaining all pages on company websites (Harris and WCTA) including general content, category landing, product landing, solution, resources and training. 
  • Support product launches and promotions by creating and/or updating pages across sites to drive traffic.
  • Work closely with the Lincoln Electric digital marketing team to ensure Harris web properties are structured and maintained in accordance with corporate and brand standards.
  • Support the marketing personnel with the maintenance and creation of international sites including technical support for Sitecore platform. 
  • Research, develop and propose new process improvements to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of digital marketing tools and programs (Continuous Improvement).
  • Troubleshoot website’s design with the aim of increasing page views, improving the user experience, and converting more visitors into customers.
  • Supports users through technical support of the website and B2B commerce sites, developing procedures and reporting tools, facilitating and coordinating training and other technical support.
  • Responds to critical issues during off hours when necessary to ensure website and commerce sites are functioning.
  • Assume additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed in support of Lincoln Electric’s strategic plan and 2025 Strategy.

 

Google Analytics                                                                                                                                                           

  • Oversight over Google Analytics for all Harris and WCTA sites
  • Compiling reports to track website metrics including traffic, demographics, campaigns, social media, etc.
  • Make recommendations for website improvements based on metrics
  • Outline and manage custom Google Analytics and Tag Manager implementations and account configurations based on unique data needs and business requirements
  • Audit and/or troubleshoot existing implementations to ensure data quality
  • Conduct website “deep dives” and on-demand analysis specifically centered around Google Analytics and marketing campaign analysis.
  • Present and effectively communicate data and insights. Strong communicator and adept at providing supporting evidence for recommendations and suggestions offered.
  • Identify data patterns (positive or negative) as they impact advertising campaigns underway, along with site usability or performance.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical personnel, internally and externally for questions, support and training.
  • Creating strategies to grow subscriber base and web traffic metrics.

 

Qualifications / Education

  • 3-5+ years of experience writing for websites or other digital communications.
  • Hands on experience managing web sites, digital asset management tools and content management systems.
  • Familiarity working with various tools and platforms such as CMS systems (ex: Sitecore), Project Management tools, Product Information Management (PIM), Adobe Creative Cloud and Digital Asset Management software.
  • Understanding of responsive web design, user experience, SEO, and accessibility best practices.
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and collaborative skills.
