Responsibilities:
Keep Track of shipment schedules for both incoming and outgoing shipments
Schedule shipments of goods and equipment
Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries
Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
Ship parcels using UPS and FedEx software
Knowledge of shipping restrictions (heights, weights, widths, etc.)
Obtain quotes and schedule LTL/Truckload shipments
Effectively communicate with suppliers and customers
Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
Knowledge of postal or commercial shipping methods and procedures
Complete NAFTA or other paperwork required for international shipments
Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries
Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
Maintain and provide ERP data entry and transfers to keep accurate records
Experience / Skills:
High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
High attention to detail and quality
Ability to maintain accurate records
Experience operating heavy machinery
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
Good communication and organizational skills
Able to keep work area clean and organized
Nonessential Skills and Experience:
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
Ability to develop and deliver presentations.

Safety operate fork trucks and overhead cranes
