Shift: Weekend shift, Full-time (12 hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

*Work three 12-hour shifts Friday - Sunday and get paid for 40 hours!

Vizient is a division of Lincoln Electric Automation™ in the General Industries group.

Position Summary: Responsible for managing work load as well as upholding quality of weldments. Making sure employees stay on task to hit the deadlines on projects.

Responsibilities:

Layout and weld one-off parts per print;

Complete any necessary inspection worksheets;

Maintain minimal (preferably none) re-work or scrap;

Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes;

Keep work area clean and organized; and

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Material handling

Complete in-process inspection reports / inspect weldments

 

Experience / Skills:

5 years’ experience MIG welding;

Strong layout skills;

High attention to detail and quality;

Able to read and interpret blueprints;

Understand basic GD&T callouts;

Must work well under pressure; and

Excellent team player with organizational and time management skills.

Nonessential Skills and Experience:

Safety (OSHA, SDS), ANSI (RIA) standards. 

Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S):

Understand the Company’s EH&S Policy and how it relates to this job;

Be aware of OSHA & EPA laws and regulations as well as Vizient’s rules and policies that pertain to this job;

Work in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and observe all company EH&S procedures;

Immediately notify the supervisor if there is any safety hazard, any equipment not operating correctly or if there are any questions regarding EH&S procedures; and

Attend required EH&S training.
