PURPOSE: Performs General Accounts Payable duties including auditing of Expense and Pcard reports. Ensure accuracy of data and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Interact interdepartmentally and with internal and external customers on a routine basis.



  • Maintain the accuracy of data entered in to the Accounts Payable (A/P) System
  • Process purchase order invoices into the A/P System
  • Secure the required level of approvals (with supporting documentation) in accordance with A/P guidelines and procedures
  • Reconcile vendor statements submitted to A/P mediating any discrepancies
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders (i.e. buyers, various site and department personnel as well as suppliers) to secure details in a timely manner
  • Respond to all vendor inquiries regarding the payment of invoices
  • Maintain files and thoroughly document findings in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Ensure day to day operations are compliant with corporate policies, SOX, and FCPA
  • Assist in month end closing
  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • High School Degree required.  Some College or working toward a college degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Working knowledge of Accounting ERP systems.  Working knowledge of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software is a plus. SAP knowledge a plus.
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle stressful situations in a busy office environment.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member
  • An understanding of the transactional lean concepts
