Your experience with customer interaction, problem solving and solution selling puts you in position to follow any of a number of career paths, including, portfolio management, marketing and communications—in addition to core engineering-related opportunities. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Participate in a 9 month comprehensive sales training program at the Euclid facility, including:
  • Complete 15 weeks of The Lincoln Electric Weld School hands-on weld training, including periodic welding skills test.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of arc welding safety issues, fundamentals and processes.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of all Lincoln Electric equipment, consumables, accessories and service products. Learn to apply these products to the appropriate application.
  • Achieve a high proficiency on weekly quizzes, mid-term and final exams.
  • Participate in various soft skills training, such as public speaking, written communication skills, selling skills, presentation skills, time management negotiation, etc.
  • Assist with product demonstrations, training and other sales specific assignments.
  • Travel to various trade shows and end user events to assist and apply your welding knowledge.
  • Travel to a district sales office for a week of training in the field.

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Marketing or related fields.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Desire to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis
