PURPOSE: This position is responsible for all general security system access questions and issues. The person in this role will be responsible for provisioning security access in any systems that the security group is responsible for providing end user access. This includes but is not limited to Active Directory/Network access, SAP, Click Commerce (all extranet sites), Flexnet, CIM, Lotus Notes and any other applications that the security group is responsible for administering access to.






  • End user provisioning is the process of granting access to an application or system. In this role end user provisioning will be the largest part of the Analyst II’s job. This entails ensuring that the proper approvals have been given by use of a Lincoln Electric Information Security Access (ISA) form. As mentioned previously the person in this role will be required to learn the provisioning process for several applications including Active Directory, SAP, Click Commerce , Flexnet, CIM, Lotus Notes and  other applications that fall under the umbrella for the Security Team to manage.
  • In addition to providing end user provisioning, the person in this role will be required to perform other miscellaneous tasks as defined by management.



  • In this role the Analyst II is responsible for maintaining all general controls documentation related to the ISA process and all documentation related to application level provisioning on each of the systems previously mentioned, that are provisioned by IT Security.
  • Supports System Development and Business unit efforts to develop solutions that are in compliance with Lincoln Electric’s Information Security Administration Policies and Procedures.



  • Proactively seek solutions to security problems. There is the expectation that this person will have to consult with the IT Manager or Tech Lead 1 or 2 for more complex security related issue



  • It is expected that the persons in this role will be responsible for access and configuration changes and expected to make aforementioned changes with no to minimal disruption to customers. Persons in this role should expect to have a higher degree of supervision from the Manager of IT Security.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed in support of Lincoln Electric’s strategic plan and 2020 Vision.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer or Information Systems or equivalent military or relevant work experience.
  • Previous experience up to 1-2+ years in Security Administration performing end user provisioning in a Windows and Unix environment.  Willingness to learn security provisioning in over applications.
  • Developed communication skills verbally and in writing with internal and external customers.
  • Certifications in MCSE, MCSA or CCNA preferred
