PURPOSE:   As the cash management expert within the company, The Global Cash Manager is responsible for best-in-class management of cash spread among 80 legal entities around the world.  This includes short term liquidity planning, cash forecasting, and working with other functions to efficiently deploy cash where it is needed around the world. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Responsible for developing strategies for global cash management to be executed around the world
  • Implement processes to centralize cash management activities within the Corporate Treasury organization where possible
  • Work with tax organization and controllers around the world to develop efficient strategies for the deployment of excess cash where it is needed
  • Manage remaining implementation and administration of Kyriba treasury management system
  • Serve as administrator for various banking and other software applications used by Corporate Treasury
  • Implement and coordinate global cash forecasting process
  • Manage and develop treasury analysts responsible for direct cash management
  • Manage process to establish, document, price, and track inter-company financing arrangements
  • Track and manage global bank fees, interest income, and interest expense
  • Coordinate interest payments on internal and external debt and re-registrations of senior notes as needed
  • Lead integration efforts of treasury operations resulting from new company acquisitions
  • Must be able to make thoughtful, independent decisions based on facts and objectives
  • Manage global bank account database and the process to update banking policies and signers as needed
  • Handle compliance requests related to bank accounts and investments (KYC, etc.)
  • Some responsibilities may change as business needs change

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Finance, Accounting or Economics.  Candidates not meeting this criterion may be considered if she/he has significant relevant experience to perform the job.
  • Minimum seven years Corporate Treasury or related experience
  • Experience managing cash for a multinational corporation
  • MBA and/or CTP
  • Experience using treasury management systems (Kyriba, etc.)
  • Experience with international cash management
  • Experience managing people
  • Solid understanding of global economic forces and their impact on markets.  Ability to identify, value, and communicate financial risk in investments
  • Strong analytical background capable of sophisticated modeling and use of third party software systems, including bank cash management systems and treasury management systems
  • Ability to manage and develop a small team of treasury professionals
  • Solid interpersonal skills and persuasive approaches should be complimented by the capacity to cultivate cohesive working relationships around the world to accomplish company objectives
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with external partners, including banks and software vendors
  • Ability to negotiate with banks and other vendors
  • Ability to manage projects involving people within and outside the company
  • Successful candidate will approach the job with a strong sense of ownership and accountability and an intense focus on accomplishing objectives
  • Able to work with a high level of attention to detail, but also able to apply critical thinking on a macro level
