PURPOSE: To direct the daily activities optimizing the inventory and auditing process. Manage various stock reports and ensure accuracy of analytical data.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Supervise, develop and implement processes that ensure the right Inventory levels to sustain efficient operations and control costs.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely Inventory levels in the Machine Division.
  • Work directly with Manufacturing Engineering, QA, Master Data and shop floor personnel.
  • Develop and enforce proper cycle counting procedures in accordance with Lincoln’s Financial and Manufacturing responsibilities.
  • Supervise and coordinate the Machine Division Raw & WIP Cycle Counting process.
  • Effectively communicate Inventory Control and Cycle Count Analytics to assist Management in making sound business decisions.
  • Other projects and related analysis required by the Departmental Manager.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.

 

 BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Four year college degree preferably in Finance, Operations or Material Management (equivalent experience will be considered).
  • Experience in operation planning, materials management and inventory control required.
  • Knowledgeable in the Lincoln Electric software packages of SAP and MES/Apriso.
  • Possess skills with or the ability to learn Outlook, Access, Excel and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle a constantly changing set of priorities.
  • High level of analytical ability to utilize complex planning system and identify “root cause” process problems.
