Req. ID: 22758

PURPOSE: As Lincoln Electric pursues its strategy of steady, consistent global growth through both acquisitions and organic initiatives, the global IT organization continues evolving to fulfill the increasing technology demands of this broadening array of businesses. One key success factor for IT is establishing and maintaining a strong capacity for delivering increasingly complex solutions to enhance process efficiencies, broaden competitive product/service offerings, and evolve to a global unified digital operating model. Achieving this demands a cohesive, organized, well-executed portfolio of strategic IT initiatives. The IT Project Manager (PM), reporting to the IT PMO Director, plays a pivotal role in IT’s capacity to deliver global high quality solutions. The Project Manager is charged with managing projects through all phases: planning, scoping, analysis, requirements gathering, design, development, implementation, and post-launch support. The PM collaborates with both IT Business Relationship Managers and IT Solution Delivery teams to establish project implementation plans and timelines. The PM then works closely with IT Solution Delivery management to staff and successfully execute projects, ensure timely deliverables, and evaluate project performance (cost and timing) against the plan.

Many of the project responsibilities specific to this IT Project Manager position will be centered on Lincoln Electric’s current global Source-to-Pay re-engineering initiative. Accordingly, this PM will be responsible for managing and delivering strategic, complex global SAP Procurement solutions which may combine one or more upstream and/or downstream SAP Ariba product solutions, or may include other cloud solutions such as Concur. Collectively, these projects represent a large-scale, high-impact global initiative spanning organizational boundaries including multiple business units and service partners/vendors. As a result, candidates with experience integrating SAP Ariba with SAP ECC or S/4 HANA, or implementing SAP Procure-to-Pay functionality, or otherwise demonstrating strong source-to-pay process knowledge will be given special consideration.
