PURPOSE: This positon is responsible for the management, maintenance and delivery of all facets of SEO across our websites and applications in support of producing high quality digital marketing solutions across Lincoln Electric while ensuring strategy and tactics are aligned. These duties include partnering with business units and product teams to create and develop well-written, well-researched copy for search-related online marketing activities, implementing SEO best practices both technical and non-technical and improving search results offsite and onsite. Employees at this level are expected to work independently and provide leadership and recommendations to develop or improve processes.



  • Create and manage process of onsite and offsite optimization for our sites. Manage internal tools and business processes that optimize the onsite search experience.
  • Works with marketing, creative, IT & technology partners and other stakeholders to build, integrate and deploy SEO functions and process workflow best practices to support business goals. Establish and implement product data standards, guidelines, and best practices in order to optimize the onsite keyword search accuracy.
  • Optimize onsite content for external and internal search engines. Update/modify/manage search engine tools and services to ensure consistent search engine growth and visibility.
  • Convey key attributes in marketing copy creation and development in association with various internal departments and stakeholders. Fields subject matter related questions and issues from stakeholders. Serves as main point of contact for any communication related to application, updates or concerns.
  • Analyze onsite customer search terms and search results, including customer paths through search results and use of faceted navigation. Recommend and manage updates to the search algorithm to optimize search results for all search terms.
  • Works with manager to analyze data and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
  • Ensure value propositions and unique selling points are on brand, engaging to the target audience, and are optimized for top search engine rankings. Research clean, concise and persuasive content to be used within SEO and SEM campaigns based on company branding, digital best practices, current market trends, and UX best practices.
  • Provides training and support for internal and external users and champion’s new ways of working. Ensures a consistent global experience that can be translated and implemented locally.
  • Develop search measurement plans and dashboards; monitor and report on search engine and onsite search metrics and KPIs.  Benchmark the onsite search experience versus competitors.
  • Stays up to date on SEO industry best practices, trends, processes and technologies and makes recommendations based on continuous learning. Contributes to and develops thought leadership content while representing Lincoln Electric.
  • Provides directions to less experienced employees.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Library Science, Information Management or related field required.
  • Five to eight years’ experience of digital marketing and SEO experience required.
  • Agency or in-house brand experience preferred
  • Understanding of and ability to develop well-written, well-researched copy for search-related online marketing activities.
  • Ability to implement SEO best practices both technical and non-technical.
  • Ability to work with development team to define algorithms to present most relevant onsite search results.
  • Tech savvy. Must demonstrate keen interest and ability to conceive, develop, and scale solutions  using both human and technology resources.
  • Familiarity working in various tools and platforms such as CMS systems (WordPress, Sitecore, etc.), Google Analytics, Project Management tools, basic HTML, Adobe Creative Cloud, required.
  • Strategic problem solver with high emphasis on accuracy, urgency and efficiency.
  •  Professional and effective communication, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  •  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, consistently meeting deadlines and remaining calm under pressure.
  •  Proficient knowledge in use of Microsoft Office.
