PURPOSE: This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting monthly financial statement results to business partners along with forecast and annual budget development.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Assist in development of the divisional, plant, and cost center overhead budgets including the maintenance of the divisional cost allocations
  • Assist the Cost Department in the development of standard and current costs
  • Prepare monthly divisional management reports as well as support schedules for monthly reporting of the Cleveland company
  • Create an environment of cost awareness and control; and their impact to profitability
  • Assist with capital request justification, development, and review
  • Assist in the development of business plans for the division; verify alignment of divisional plan with the corporate business plan and strategic objectives
  • Drive improvements in inventory management through support of the S&OP process
  • Prepare additional analysis and work on other projects as assigned
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA/CMA certificates and advanced degree are a plus
  • 5-10 years progressive experience in accounting in a manufacturing environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP; knowledge of SEC reporting procedures and practices a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Hyperion Enterprise and SAP a plus
  • Must be knowledgeable in various cost/benefit analysis processes (IRR, ROI, ROIC, ROA, NPV, etc.)
  • Must possess excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
  • Must be highly motivated; as well as have the proven ability to work independently and within a team; exhibiting demonstrated flexibility and openness to change
  • Must possess a keen attention to detail and promote high quality standards
