PURPOSE: This position processes pay for Executives and Expatriates along with the associated work. Additionally, this position is responsible for financial close tasks associated with these pays: DeferredComp, Management fees, Inter-company billings, Hypothetical tax (entries, accrual reconciliations, propertax treatment etc.) This position also processes the bonus payrolls and associated work.


JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Processes semi-monthly payrolls for Executive group and monthly payroll for Expatriates.
  • Prepares Stock Option and Top Hat disbursement transactions, ensuring proper tax treatment and W-2reporting.
  • Responsible for bonus processing, bonus earnings reporting, bonus financial entries.
  • Participates in various payroll projects including acquisitions and consolidations.
  • Responsible for Hypo-tax accrual, works closely with outside Partner (PWC) to ensure proper accruals andother expat associated reporting
  • Prepares various analyses upon request.
  • Responds to requests from internal/external auditors: includes reporting, documentation.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.
  • Responsible for coordinating set up of tax jurisdictions, including State, SUI, Locals, School Districts etc.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.


BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience
  • CPP preferred
  • Experienced with payroll practices and knowledge of laws for various states with ability to research lawsand regulations
  • Strong Accounting knowledge
  • Solid understanding of payroll tax
  • Ability to follow-up on tax filing discrepancies
  • Knowledge of ADP reporting and Vantage software
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrate advanced computer skills such as MS Excel, Word, SAP and HR Databases
  • Ability to make solid and rational decisions regarding payroll technical issues
  • Developed communications and writing skills
