PURPOSE: This position is responsible for providing solutions to improve processes, or solve complex technical issues. Strong skills are required on Microsoft Exchange, Skype for Business, and MDM technologies. A key role in ensuring new technologies are selected and implemented in a timely manner.  

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Provide Technical Support / Systems Administration for Exchange 2016, Skype for Business and Mobile device management
  • Determine requirements, plan, and implement major product upgrades. Design presentations to management concerning technical issues and upgrades
  • Direct projects / teams comprised of IT technical experts and business representatives
  • Support monitoring systems that span the messaging infrastructure
  • Provide Systems Maintenance request and test plans. This includes making recommendations for standards
  • Quickly spot trends and accurately predict future requirements on assigned platform

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or equivalent relevant experience
  • 5-7+ years of supporting Microsoft Exchange in an enterprise environment
  • 3-5+ years of supporting Microsoft Skype for Business
  • Strong server admin skills (Windows Server, VMware)
  • Knowledge of Mobile Device Management is a plus
  • Ability to automate tasks and perform maintenance via Powershell
  • Experience in mail migrations (Gmail, O365)
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, customer centric, and the ability to work without supervision
  • Demonstrates flexibility in responding to unexpected demands. Contributes willingly during emergencies and other necessary situations during and/or after regular work hours. This position requires night and weekend work along with on-call
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
