Supply Management Master Data Technician

PURPOSE:  Perform Vendor Master Functions for the Supply Management Department.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES): 

  • Responsible for Vendor Master data entry for SAP vendor masters supporting Lincoln Electric affiliates in North America and Mexico.
  • Support vendor relationships ensuring compliance with FCPA (regulatory requirements).  Performs annual audits ensuring vendors remain compliant.  Maintains appropriates records.
  • Maintain and manage department documents (W9, W8, NDA’s, Contracts, Certificates, SISs, etc.).
  • Support other Supply Management Functions on different assignments.
  • Support Compliance team and assist suppliers and manufacturers to complete required compliance data as required including obtaining and updating as necessary proper documentation to be compliant with Company’s vendor withholding tax policy.
  • Perform parameter data entry function in SAP and other developed software.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.

 

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Associates degree required.
  • Training and/or business-related experience.
  • Ability to handle a constantly changing series of priorities, and to work on multiple projects with minimal instruction and supervision.
  • Must be customer service focused, while being comfortable, patient, and effective in communicating with diverse international contacts.
  • Ability to handle information in a confidential manner.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with others at all levels of the company.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with computers and software packages including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP.
  • High level of accuracy, organizational ability, initiative, and flexibility.
