PURPOSE:   This position is responsible for providing high quality front-end development, programming, testing, implementation and maintenance of Lincoln Electric web sites and associated applications.



  • Develops implements and maintains standard code libraries to be used for corporate web sites, e-commerce and mobile web applications.
  • Works with server-side infrastructure and 3rd party technology partners along with creative and business stakeholders to build, integrate and deploy various web applications and functionality to support business goals while adhering to development and design best practices.
  • Provides project scope and timeline estimates to ensure code stability and projects are completed on time and on budget.
  • Performs troubleshooting, code maintenance and quality control during web project and system updates to ensure usability of the web applications.  Works with IT to provide front-end support and troubleshooting for complex web projects.  Triages and manages production issues as they surface.
  • Researches, develops and proposes new technologies to improve applications architecture.  Researches best practices as related to CSS, JAVA Script, HTML, performance and other front-end development.   
  • Supports a high quality of deliverables and effectively manages assigned relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
  • Creates documentation that defines how to utilize, maintain and troubleshoot applications used in web sites that can be used globally.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed in support of Lincoln Electric’s strategic plan and 2020 Vision.



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Information Systems, Marketing, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years’ experience preferred; minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Sematic HTML5, JavaScript, PHP, typescript, Css3, AJAX, WebSockets and web design concepts.
  • Knowledge of Open Source JavaScript libraries such as Angular 2, J5, Jquery, SemanticUI, bootstrap, foundation, Node, required.
  • Experience with continuous integration stack and client-side build/dependency.
  • Exposure with various tools and platforms such as CMS systems, google Analytics, Project Management tools, etc.
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices, preferred
  • Database management experience
