Position Summary:  Supervise all shop production activities related to assigned projects and assigned team members.                    

Role qualifications:

  • Must be familiar with Company quality objectives and play an active role in reaching continuous improvement objectives.
  • Focus on competence, awareness, and training of personnel.  Have the ability to play an integral part in employee development process as it relates to specific job related and trade related skills.


Position responsibilities:

  • Organize/Prioritize resource labor on shop floor for all projects.
  • Manage the resource labor hours
  • Manage time sheets and approvals.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to organize and support installs and install teams.
  • Supervise all production, inspection, transportation, maintenance and utility employees associated with assigned market segment, projects, and work areas.
  • Play a key role as a project team member and work closely with Program Managers, Project Engineers, and team members to insure successful project results.
    • On time delivery, product verification & validation, and achieving project cost targets.
  • Process work records as required.
  • Assure safe working conditions.
  • Enforce the policies and procedures of Lincoln Electric Automation Fort Loramie.
  • Effectively collaborate with Machinists, Engineers, Management, and support functions.


Essential skills and experience:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 10 plus years manufacturing production experience required
  • Commitment to company values
  • Educational, training, and experience requirements may be modified at the Managements Team’s discretion.


Nonessential skills and experience:

  • Supervision training.
  • Personal computer training
  • Safety training
  • Quality systems training


Reporting to this position:  Assembly staff assigned to your work group.
