Primary Function

Coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts that include functions such as warehousing, shop and delivery services to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules | Compiles data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements.


Position Responsibilities

  • Focus on the accuracy and efficiency of  the supply chain processes
  • Place orders in system based off job and inventory demand
  • Communicate status of material requests and demands
  • Participate in streamline processes to find efficiencies to enforce continuous improvement
  • Manage and requisition consumable shop supplies
  • Manage and requisition hardware, bin items, company supplies
  • Coordinate Logistics for incoming and outgoing orders
  • Perform various administrative functions in the ERP system
  • Assist in job pulls and staging of material
  • Evaluate on hand amounts and reorder points
  • Cycle counting and adjust inventory as needed
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities, material, labor, lead time savings
  • Act independently to identify and develop supply chain improvement opportunities
  • Other job related duties as assigned


Role Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Extensive user knowledge of ERP/MRP system
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact and work effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Highly organized and process-driven individual
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and a positive professional image
  • Ability to be flexible and able to function comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly changing and ambiguous environment
  • Must play an active role in reaching continuous improvement objectives
  • Proficiency in MS Office; advance skills are preferred
  • Educational, training, and experience requirements may be modified at the management team’s discretion
