The IT Infrastructure Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our global IT infrastructure by designing and implementing robust, scalable solutions that align with business objectives and support enterprise-wide operations. While this role emphasizes Linux systems and enterprise architecture, it also requires a strong understanding of Windows-based infrastructure to ensure seamless integration across our predominantly Windows environment. 

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing IT infrastructure solutions across global environments.
  • Lead architectural planning and decision-making for Linux-based systems and broader infrastructure platforms, ensuring compatibility and integration with Windows-based services.
  • Provide technical leadership in the deployment, configuration, and management of Linux and Windows systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with Server, Network, and Cloud teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components including physical servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud services.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure standards, documentation, and best practices.
  • Automate infrastructure tasks using scripting languages such as YAML, Bash, Python, JSON, or PowerShell, and have extensive experience with tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance infrastructure capabilities and support business growth.
  • Design and support container orchestration solutions using Kubernetes, ensuring scalability, resilience, and integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and mentor for infrastructure-related initiatives, guiding junior team members and cross-functional partners.
  • Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards in all infrastructure designs and implementations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize infrastructure performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Utilize monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios) to proactively manage system health and performance.

Requisitos do trabalho

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant experience is required.

· 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on Linux systems and enterprise architecture, and solid experience supporting Windows environments.

· Proven track record of designing and implementing infrastructure solutions in a global enterprise environment.

· Deep expertise in Linux system administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, with working knowledge of Windows Server OS and Active Directory.

· Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture principles, including networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud integration.

· Experience with configuration management and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).

· Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production environments, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring of containerized applications.

· Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP a plus) and hybrid infrastructure models.

· Solid knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and SD-WAN technologies.

· Relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Azure Solutions Architect, or similar are a plus.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to infrastructure challenges.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
