Quality Manager

Coordinate and lead the successful completion of ISO 9001 internal audits following internal procedures and tools. Ensures that quality performance and records conform to established Company and regulatory standards; recommends actions, dispositions and modifications. Interfaces with all levels of management and employees to ensure requirements are met while managing a department.




  • Complete both internal and external audits
  • Analyze documentation for compliance to ISO standards; develops documentation as required
  • Provide technical guidance to employees. Colleagues and customers.
  • Lead company in effort to become ISO 17025 A2LA   Accredited
  • Conduct management meetings regarding ISO / AS9100
  • Prepare graphs, data maintenance and generation for AS9100
  • Complete random procedural checks (machinist, Laser, etc.) and verify machine certifications (CMM)
  • Recommend process improvements to save time and costs
  • Review ASR Contracts
  • Maintain vendor and employee training records
  • Maintain internal control systems by updating audit programs and questionnaires; recommending new policies and procedures.
  • Communicate audit findings by preparing a final report; discussing findings with auditees.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local security legal requirements by studying existing and new security legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Prepare special audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating information and trends.
  • Perform and or assign internal / external audits / address non-conformities including follow-up and closure pending preventive and corrective action requests
  • interview, hire and train employees; planning, assigning, and directing work, address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Assist the management team and provide quality assurance support.
  • Create and maintain a vendor/supplier list for special processes, inspection.
  • Assist in the technical leadership and GD&T training
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Additional job duties as assigned




  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Bachelor Degree preferred
  • Aerospace experience preferred, quality experience is required
  • Leadership skills in building, maintaining and motivating a team are mandatory
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong supervisory skills are required
  • Able to think critically
  • Able to multi-task
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong verbal/written skills
