PRIMARY FUNCTION: Manage high growth territory in middle TN and southern KY.  Lincoln sales in 2021 exceeded $10M.  Significant upside potential as automotive segment and general economy recovers. TSR will drive district, regional, and corporate initiatives with a focus on growing sales. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Manage sales and relationships, and provide technical support at three major direct automotive accounts: Bowling Green Metalforming(Magna), Metalsa, and Martinrea. 
  • Territory weighted heavily toward direct sales.  Additional direct accounts include Hendrickson Trailer, Ascent Buildings, Kirby Building Systems, Stupp Bridge, and Unipres.
  • Expert resource for accounts with PowerWave systems(over 2000 PowerWave systems in territory).
  • Skilled at selling Lincoln automation.  Has basic robot programming skills.  
  • Ability to work with all client levels up to CEO and ability to recognize when to involve senior Lincoln management.
  • Develop and build distributor sales with emphasis on initiatives to increase Lincoln market share.
  • Serve as primary Lincoln liaison to Airgas MidAmerica’s Goodlettsville, TN based hub president.
  • Provide technical support, demonstrations and training where needed to drive sales.
  • Recognized as a welding expert.
  • Drive Educational Program to all major schools and unions to increase Lincoln share, presence, and sales.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy. 
  • Minimal overnight travel.  No city or state income tax.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Engineering, Sales or Marketing required
  • Opportunity for level I & II TSR;
    • TSR I- Minimum of one to three years’ experience in sales including cold calling
    • TSR II-Minimum of three to five years’ experience in sales including cold calling
  • Demonstrated communication skills verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work with all levels of client up to CEO and ability to recognize when to bring Senior Lincoln Management into the sale
  • Capable of cold calling and can typically close sales with assistance from Supervisor or a more senior level TSR.
  • Has knowledge of top selling Lincoln products.
  • Position may require overnight travel.  Varies based upon location.
