PURPOSE:  To support our customers’ machine service needs through skilled technical analysis, expeditious repair of equipment, and accurate documentation of the service event.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Receive, stage and document incoming equipment
  • Disassemble and pressure wash equipment
  • Reassemble, troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Obtain prints, specifications, and replacement parts required for equipment repairs
  • Set up and apply electrical and robotic welding test equipment and fixtures
  • Interpret test results and perform appropriate repairs
  • Document labor performed and parts used
  • Repackage equipment for return shipment
  • Be responsible for final repair product quality
  • Cross train to perform equipment repairs on other product lines

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school education or equivalent experience, post graduate or equivalent technical studies a plus
  • Experience in industrial electrical and mechanical equipment repair
  • Experience working safely with and around industrial three-phase electrical systems
  • Ability to read and understand troubleshooting guides, wiring diagrams, and assembly prints
  • Knowledge of electrical test equipment operation (ground and functional)
  • Some welding knowledge, GMAW in particular, a plus
  • Proficient in operation of computers
  • Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety rules and procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on an occasional basis
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Organizational skills including accurate record keeping and technical reporting
  • Excellent quality and attendance records
