Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Fabricator to join our team.  Under general supervision, the ideal candidate will perform a variety of skilled mechanical tasks.  Job tasks include fabricating, assembling, and repairing custom machines, and other duties as assigned.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• • Build and test equipment, tools, and fixtures using mechanical assembly and fabrication skills
  • Operate industrial equipment including forklifts and production support equipment (training available)
  • Read an interpret drawings and work instructions
  • Strong working knowledge of basic hand tools
  • Working knowledge of electrical components
  • Able to complete basic mechanical troubleshooting
  • Complete assigned documentation
• Complete all training as assigned
  • Adhere to all health & safety requirements
  • Uncompromising attitude toward safety, quality, and customer service   
  • All other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 0 to 3 years assembly or fabrication experience
  • Must be well-organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Demand and Work Environment

• • Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, and machinery with moving parts.
  • Must be physically able to push, pull, bend, stoop, climb, reach, lift 75 lbs, and stand/walk on concrete floors for long periods of time
