Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The qualified candidate will assist production personnel during the manufacturing of mature products with a focus on safety, process, and cost-saving improvements.  This position will also aid in implementing lean manufacturing techniques, automation of processes, and continue to maintain drawing and manufacturing documentations as necessary.



  • Select the appropriate equipment, methods, and sequences to optimize production processes
  • Verify operational performance through process capability studies
  • Specify tooling, fixtures, and gaging for new and existing production processes
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for production processes
  • Maintain all related manufacturing documentation including process routings, standards,
    work instructions, setup sheets, CNC program library, 3D-models, and prints
  • Assist with specification of new automation equipment
  • Provide production personnel with technical expertise and assistance
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure product compliance
  • Develop and assist with preventative maintenance and inventory programs
  • Actively support operations through safety and quality improvements, and cost reductions
  • Work closely with production management and participate in continuous improvement programs
  • Interact with other departments as needed



  • Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering degree preferred
  • 3 + years of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing quality systems
  • Thorough understanding of measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and indicators
  • A positive outlook, project ownership, and a desire to improve the manufacturing environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a diverse group
  • Able to create CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, able to modify programs on machine
  • Working knowledge of CNC machine tooling
  • Ability to trouble shoot and work through difficult situations
  • Ability to handle changing priorities
  • Ability to research, analyze, and implement production processes for efficiency gains
  • Support safety and quality objectives while maintaining reliable and flexible manufacturing processes



  • Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, and machinery with moving parts.
  • Must be physically able frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
