About the role

As an Accountant, you will be responsible to carry out the responsibilities of the Finance department including month-end close, reporting results to business leaders and help perform and maintain processes that are compliant with legal, regulatory and financial reporting standards.  Key responsibilities include:

• Month-End Close
  • Learn and prepare the required journal entries for the domestic locations, including creating the related account reconciliations
  • Assisting the Finance team with compiling data for monthly and quarterly reporting for corporate
  • Gathering data for internal and external audit functions to obtain favorable control ratings
• Reporting
  • Working with the Finance team to create and deliver financial reports to business leaders
  • Analyzing results and providing feedback to explain business drivers which can be used to drive improvements in the business
  • Assisting the financial planning & analysis team with forecasting, budgeting and other unique requests from management

You’ll also bring:

• 1-3+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), SAP experience preferred but not required
• CPA or in process of obtaining certification preferred
