The Harris Products Group, a Lincoln Electric company, is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our Operations team in Mason, OH.  In this position, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Electrically troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain facility buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems.
  • Primarily 1st shift schedule could include 2nd, 3rd, split shifts and/or weekends when necessary
  • Works safely and supports safety within their team across the organization, timely completion of projects and reports, User Manuals, timelines, activity reports, physically wiring up equipment, writing purchase requisitions


Qualified candidates must be goal-oriented team players and possess:

  • Must have successfully completed an Electrician Apprentice Program, an Associate degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology, or have equivalent job experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical troubleshooting. Some knowledge of combustion systems may be required.
  • Experience in relay logic and industrial controls.
  • Knowledge and experience reading wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.
  • Possess good organizational and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, safety and quality conscious; requiring minimal supervision.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • May be required to operate basic shop equipment (hoist, forklift, scissor lift, etc.)
  • Be mechanically inclined.
  • Able to work in confined areas, climb ladders, and work at heights of 50 feet.
  • Able to distinguish colors used in color-coding wires and electronic components.
  • Be willing to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge. 
  • Be able to understand and interpret the specifications and procedures related to this job.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Lean tools – Value Stream Mapping
  • Proficient with SAP, Mini Tab, Auto Cad / Auto Cad Electrical
  • Six Sigma training – Red Belt or equivalent
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in PLCs, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for production machinery.
