Summary: Lincoln Electric is hiring for our Finance & Accounting Development Program. This is an outstanding entry level position that will expose a recent college graduate to various processes within the Corporate Accounting & Finance function. Members of the Finance & Accounting Development Program will rotate over a two-year period in a variety of functional areas, including Financial Reporting, General Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Development, etc. They will also assist in Corporate Accounting / Finance projects and initiatives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly management reports and presentations.
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze the cost of producing the organization's products and services, as well as capital budget requests.
  • Assist with physical inventories for division and subsidiaries.
  • Assist with preparation of SEC financial statement filings.
  • Assist with the integration of acquired businesses, including physical inventories, management reporting, development of control structure, etc.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree and / or CPA designation preferred (or in process).
  • Previous Accounting or Finance work or intern experience a plus.
  • Must be highly motivated and possess excellent analytical and communication skills with an interest in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must possess a high degree of flexibility and demonstrate the ability to perform numerous tasks and assignments concurrently.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel and Power Point) essential, SAP and HFM knowledge a plus.
