The employees working in these positions are paid piecework — meaning pay is based on the quantity of parts manufactured rather than an hourly rate. The work schedule typically requires working rotating shifts and mandatory overtime, so it is common for an employee to work a different shift each week. Safety Orientation, Quality, Adaptability, Dependability, Teamwork, Cooperation, are required attributes of Skilled Piecework Production positions. 

There are 4 main positions that a Pieceworker can be hired into:
1) Assembler, 2) Machine Operator, 3) Production Welder, or 4) Production Machinist.
