JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Interface with Customers, Segment teams and Technical Sales Reps to understand & identify industrychallenges and solution gaps
- Perform Applied R&D testing to develop process solutions to fill industry gaps
- Consolidate key insights from industry exposure, lab testing, and welding experience into value propositions fordeveloped application solutions, and welding fundamental related tools
- Represent Lincoln Electric as unmatched expert in the field of welding with the ability to
- Troubleshoot complex welding application scenarios
- Assess the productivity needs and issues of our customers, and make relevant recommendations
- Demonstrate welding solutions and speak to the value of implementation
- Act as the voice of the customer for MRD and CRD in the product development process
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Welding Engineering Preferred and 3- 5+ years’ experience.
- Demonstration of Application Engineering Self-Management Competencies commensurate with engineering level.
- Minimum of three to five years of engineering experience.
- Knowledge of various arc welding, cutting processes and procedures is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization, as well as external customers.
- Willing to travel 10-20% of time domestically & internationally.
- Selected candidate’s Job Level and Pay Grade will be determined based upon qualifications and experience.
