PURPOSE:  To support the company’s Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives & programs by being a key resource for Lincoln Electric facilities on EHS matters, including administration/support for EHS MS Software.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Administrator/Designer for EHS MS Software, including QUEST.  Develop training materials and business process for EHS Modules.
  • Review and analyze EHS metrics and recommend improvements, including assisting in preparing EHS reports.
  • Global Linc Corporate EHS Community administrator
  • Facilitate the development, implementation and training of Corporate EHS Programs & Initiatives.
  • Develop & maintain a thorough knowledge of EHS regulations including:  OSHA, NFPA, EPA, etc.
  • Visit LE facilities both domestically and internationally to provide training, perform assessments and assist on implementation of EHS programs.
  • Perform accident investigations, analyze root cause and provide corrective actions.
  • Assist in evaluation of new equipment or facility improvements.
  • Perform special projects at the direction of the Director EHS or Manager Corporate EHS

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, EHS related field or Information Systems
  • 3+ years’ experience. 
  • EHS certifications a plus.
  • Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principals, practices and procedures for EHS.
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or design of equipment is desirable.
  • Possesses excellent computer skills, including MS Office, and the ability to implement appropriate EHS software.
  • Strong information systems background.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Uncompromising attitude toward environmental, health and safety.
  • EHS Auditing experience a plus, or willingness to be trained.
  • Must be capable of interfacing with personnel at all levels in the organization.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, second language is desirable.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically & internationally (up to 30%) and work with subsidiaries.
