HR Compliance, Senior Analyst

PURPOSE: The Senior Human Resource Compliance Analyst serves as a business partner to the HR team to ensure practices, policies and employment processes are effectively implemented. This includes assisting with design and implementation of Lincoln Electric’s strategy in areas of inclusion, recruitment, hiring, promotion, and termination practices. This role also manages and administers Affirmative Action and EEO programs for all U.S. locations, providing guidance and assistance in accordance with regulatory guidelines. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES): 

  • Analyze and evaluate diversity/equal employment opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action programs, employment eligibility (via E-Verify) and other practices, policies and related topics to ensure compliance with government legislation and organizational goals.
  • Serve as project manager for regulatory submissions to government agencies including AAP, EEOC, and OFCCP.
  • Analyze and interpret data and communicate with staff and management regarding organizational compliance issues and opportunities. Serve as a consultant in the area of compliance.
  • Evaluate existing processes and procedures to identify, determine and address data and/or process gaps.
  • Collaborate with HR team to develop and implement improvements in recruitment and other programs to ensure compliance with diversity/EEO goals and regulations.
  • Develop systems to audit HR programs for compliance. Conducts readiness checks, analyzes results and recommends solutions.
  • Manage relationships with multiple vendors including legal firms, technology providers, and service providers.
  • Responds and coordinates activities associated with compliance evaluations and audits
  • Manage relationships with multiple vendors including legal firms, technology providers, and other service providers.
  • Act as an HR Compliance subject matter expert on organization wide projects.
  • Consults with HRIS on technology needs.
  • Conducts HR compliance due diligence for potential acquisitions.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS Degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in Human Resources, Compliance, Audit or other related areas. High School diploma with 10 years’ experience with same disciplines will be considered.
  • Knowledge of human resources laws and employment practices required.
  • Experience with management of AAP’s, EEO and Vets reporting.
  • Demonstrated skills relating to attention to detail, problem solving, organizing and managing multiple priorities. 
  • Proven communication skills with ability to consult, collaborate, and facilitate. Experience effectively presenting complex subjects and conducting training.
  • Extensive and complex data analysis skills with advanced experience in database management and Excel.
  • Previous exposure to the development of inclusion and diversity metrics/programs a plus.
  • Practical experience with SuccessFactors preferred.
  • Prior experience participating in OFCCP audits preferred.
