Euclid Occupational Nurse

PURPOSE: To provide clinical care for all Euclid employees, including case management for workers compensation cases, Human Resources support and promotion of wellness activities.



  • Clinical Responsibilities: Provide first aid for work related issues, support compliance of medical surveillance requirements. Conduct periodic spirometry, respiratory fit testing, drug screens, audiometry, vision screening. Provide counseling in the Hearing Conservation program. Health promotion and disease prevention through counseling, education & training. Includes walk-in or scheduled appointments during established clinic hours, documentation in EMR, Communication with all stakeholders in return to work process.
  • Maintain the Human Resources Information Systems to ensure high levels of data integrity and accurate personnel files utilizing and maintaining the electronic medical record and other office and clinical related computer software effectively.
  • Collaborate with and support the Workers’ Compensation and Employee Absence Department as well as the Employee Relations Department.  Support company safety and wellness initiatives.
  • Provide Emergency Team Member Program support.
  • Support the efficient functioning of Medical Department and Maintain PAR levels of supplies & medications, cleanliness of department & functioning of equipment.
  • Project work and any other duties assigned from time to time.



  • Nurse BSN or RN with related Bachelor's degree preferred but will consider LPN with strong experience in occupational health / Workers’ Compensation
  • Must be able to stand and walk frequently and lift up to 10 pounds.
  • 1-3 years in Occupational Health or 3-5 years in Community Health/Ambulatory Care/Emergency Care/Critical Care.
  • Occupational Hearing Conservation Certification. Spirometry Certification. Respirator Fit Training within 1 year of hire.
  • BLS certification.
