PURPOSE: Develop and maintain production schedules to insure proper finished goods stock levels at Distribution Centers and insure adequate customer service. Work with all functional areas required to achieve this objective.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to properly maintain Distribution Center stocking levels (Inventory) and service levels (Fill rates) of Finished Goods.
  • Work with production supervision to identify and manage resource requirements.
  • Work closely with the Specials Department Consumable Division to ensure product is manufactured according to specifications.
  • Communicate extensively within the division and with other functional areas (Customer Service, R & D, Production, Traffic, and Quality) of the company to maintain alignment of customer service and manufacturing objectives.
  • Report directly to the General Foreman/Shift Foreman of the assigned department.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Four year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent organizational skills to handle a constantly changing set of priorities
  • Must have a working knowledge of the Lincoln consumable manufacturing and computer systems (SAP, Flexnet, etc.)
  • Skilled in the use of Excel, Word, and Lotus Notes
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people inside an outside the Company, both orally and written
