SUMMARY: Lincoln Electric is seeking an Inventory Analyst for our Euclid, Ohio headquarters. The Inventory Analyst will evalute results of cycle counts and determine root cause.  


JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Evaluate and determine the root cause of inventory adjustments as reported by the cycle counters.
  • Define and implement corrective actions for inventory adjustments.
  • Work cross-functionally as required.
  • Evaluate results of cycle counters and determine whether further analysis or recounting is required.
  • Perform cycle counts.
  • Develop stratification classes for cycle counts.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.


BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Four year college degree required, preferably in Finance or Operations Management.
  • Ability to work with other departments, including Master Data, MFG Engineering, Shop floor and Financial Audit as required.
  • Maintain orderliness of shop floor to support cycle counting accuracy.
  • Perform projects related to inventory accuracy as assigned.
  • Knowledge of Lincoln part numbers.
  • Excellent attendance, safety and work record.
  • Familiar with shop floor processes and work flow.
  • Capable of operating or learning to operate an overhead crane and forklift.
  • Ability to lift or move containers up to 40 lbs.
  • Capable of learning or have current experience in:
    • Weight count procedures
    • Personal computers
  • Be self motivated.
  • Extensive walking required
