Summary:

Join Lincoln Electric at our Euclid, OH headquarters as a Product Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing our portfolio of alloy welding consumables, driving innovation, and meeting evolving industry demands. This dynamic position offers a unique blend of strategic leadership, market insights, portfolio maintenance, new product development, hands-on engagement, and some trips into the field for voice of the customer experiences.

** This is a hybrid position and will require working in the office/plant about 4 days a week. We do offer a flexible work appropriately policy**

 

What You Will Do:

 

  • Become a Subject Matter Expert: Cultivate a deep understanding of our product line, staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Product Line Ownership: Spearhead diverse activities spanning from roadmap creation to mature product promotion, ensuring the continued success of our offerings.
  • Market Research: Lead comprehensive research initiatives to capture the voice of the customer, analyze competitive landscapes, and identify emerging business trends.
  • Business Case Creation: Collaborate with senior management to develop data-driven strategies for product enhancement and new development, driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • New Product Development: Engage as a key stakeholder alongside engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to commercialization.
  • New Product Launches: Assist in crafting launch strategies and seamlessly integrate them across sales, marketing, and R&D functions.
  • Product Marketing: Partner with marketing counterparts to articulate the value proposition of our products through various channels, driving brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Financial Analysis: Develop robust financial acumen to monitor portfolio performance, informing strategic decision-making to optimize product line performance.
  • Sales Channel Support: Provide ongoing support to our commercial team and customers, leveraging insights to drive sales growth across all channels.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Lead productive discussions across the organization with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability and Growth: Embrace opportunities to take on additional responsibilities in alignment with Lincoln Electric's 2025 strategic objectives.

 

Required Experience & Education

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or Associate Degree with 5+ years of experience. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Strong aptitude for translating technical details into accessible insights for diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, adept at managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with desire for continuous learning and improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, SAP and Click-Up preferred, or a demonstrated ability to learn new software platforms quickly.
  • Understanding of welding practices, procedures, and products preferred.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time.
