PURPOSE: To perform all the administrative functions for the Production Team which allows them to focus with the extended teams on improving the metrics within the team goals of Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Continuous Improvement, Cost Control, and Personnel Development.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Assist supervision with generating all work schedules
  • Track and schedule department personnel for all required training
  • Maintain all Apriso (Time and Attendance) functions for department
  • Track vacation schedules for departmental personnel
  • Track production reporting, rejections, and warranty information for the department
  • Order all office supplies used in the department
  • Assist with production postings when necessary
  • Assist supervision in assuring that piecework or day work cards are turned in daily
  • Maintain monthly department reports and chart updates
  • Update monthly WELD/SafeTrack, Qualcheck and Near Miss observations and input maintenance requests
  • Assist in project tracking and documentation
  • Handle all secretarial functions for the department supervisor and assist in Quarterly presentations
  • Perform other duties as requested
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s CI Strategy.


BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school education or equivalent in experience
  • Excellent organizational skills to handle a constantly changing series of priorities
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Experience handling confidential information in an appropriate manner
  • Knowledge of the production SAP computer systems and in the use of Outlook
  • Proficient in the use of Flexnet, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access (Prescreening is required)
  • Team player with the ability to get along well with others
  • Excellent attendance record
