We are looking for a skilled Reliability Engineer with a focus on analytics and process development to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our products and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance the reliability and performance of our products and operations.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques to analyze data related to product performance, equipment reliability, and process efficiency
  • Develop reliability models and simulations to predict system performance and identify potential failure modes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize processes that enhance product reliability and operational efficiency
  • Investigate and identify root causes of failures or performance issues and develop solutions to address them
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, reduce downtime, and improve overall product performance
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential reliability risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Maintain detailed documentation of reliability analyses, processes, and improvement initiatives
  • Provide training and support to teams on reliability engineering principles, tools, and best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to drive reliability initiatives and achieve business objectives
  • Perform general duties as assigned and assist in other areas as workload requires

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • B.S. in Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in reliability engineering, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and techniques
  • Proficiency in reliability modeling and simulation software
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis methods and reliability engineering principles
  • Experience with process development and optimization
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform root cause analysis

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Traveling is minimal; hours may be irregular.  The air temperature may be hot or cold, inside and outside. The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The employee is occasionally required to sit.  In the office there is minimal reaching, bending and lifting in relationship to documents and stored records. Inside the factory, there will be lifting, reaching, bending, dragging, pulling and carrying of parts and equipment.  This individual must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds and frequently lift 25 pounds. This position requires manual dexterity and visual acuity to utilize the assembly equipment and tools. The position requires vision, hearing, smell, and speech.
