Service Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Works on selling service opportunities to customers for equipment that is in use at their facilities.
  • Works with customers to make sure that they have all spare parts needed and on hand for their equipment.
  • Works with customers to sell health assessment opportunities.
  • Organizes and plans all resource needs on all health assessment trips.
  • Responsible for completion of all health assessment documents and reviewing with customers.
  • Responsible for putting together a quote for all health assessment items to share with customer.
  • Responsible for planning service requests for customer that call requesting service.
  • Responsible for on time initiation of invoicing on all sold service jobs.
  • Works with customers to sell training opportunities
  • Organizes and plans sold training opportunities.
  • Works with sales department to put in spare parts and health assessment opportunities in the quotes.
  • Assist PM’s with putting together installation plans on projects as needed.
  • Assist PM’s with getting installation quotes for projects. Coordinate outside installation/service resources, negotiate rates and schedule as required.
  • Assisting in the quoting process for service/installation.
  • Responsible for Equipment Installation /Kits – Lineup/ Buyoff list prior to ship / Assist on Installations when required / Follow up with the appropriate Engineering Department on Field Changes / Assist with daily customer requests.
  • Participate in meetings as required with the project manager and department supervisors to line-up installation plans and review all open-issues prior to shipment.
  • Assist on local service calls and installations as required.
  • Supervise installation, de-bug, and buyoff activities at customer locations when required.
  • Works with site manager to assure proper flow of daily activities at customer locations.
  • Back up to service manager for hot line calls and vacations.

 

 

Prerequisites:

Educational:   High School Diploma required.

                       Two-year business degree preferred. 

Training:         Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office. Must be proficient in using

                        Epicor within 2 months of having this position.

Experience:     Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing management or sales experience in an automation

                        environment.
