Our company was founded in 1895 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, by John C. and James F. Lincoln. Since the first Lincoln Electric variable voltage arc welder was released in 1911, we have established a renowned heritage as a global leader in high-quality welding and cutting products. 130 years of industry-leading solutions later, our drive to innovate, collaborate and evolve has never wavered. Today, we are a global manufacturing and automation company 12,000 people strong. Our people forge the critical bonds that hold everything together, drawing upon deep expertise in metallurgy, power electronics, engineering, automation and software to solve our customers’ toughest fabrication challenges.
