Job Responsibilities

 

 

Lead and drive growth in the rapidly expanding electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure market, with a focus on commercial and industrial sectors. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and supporting the deployment of EV charging solutions.

 


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Identify and engage key decision-makers, qualify prospects within the assigned region, and develop and execute sales strategies to win or expand accounts.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets within the Mexican market.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, deliver presentations, and negotiate proposals to secure new commercial accounts.
  • Understand local energy policies, industry regulations, available incentives, and the competitive landscape to effectively position offerings.
  • Analyze market dynamics and competitive environment to inform sales strategies and improve success rates.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to create customized sales materials and campaigns.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to the leadership team regarding progress and achievements.
  • Work closely with field resellers and/or service partners to develop sales opportunities and support sales and implementation activities.
  • Accurately forecast revenue by territory and account, and maintain detailed records of contacts, business history, and opportunities in the CRM platform.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred; candidates with incomplete degrees may be considered based on experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, preferably within clean energy, EV charging solutions, or a related sector.

Technical & Industry Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of EV charging infrastructure, technologies, and energy-related projects.
  • Familiarity with Mexican energy and industrial regulations, policies, and incentive programs.
  • Ability to translate technical features into commercial value for clients.
  • Knowledge of Level 2, Level 3, and DC fast-charging protocols, including grid integration.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet sales targets within established timelines.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Comfortable engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
