Responsibilities:

Coordinate internal and external resources for the execution of projects;

Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget;

Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility;

Ensure resource availability and allocation;

Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress;

Manage changes to the scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques;

Measure project performance using the appropriate tools and techniques;

Report and escalate to management as needed;

Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders;

Perform risk management to minimize project risks;

Establish and maintain relationships with outside vendors; and

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

 

Experience / Skills:

Bachelor degree in Project Management, Business Management, Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent preferred;

2+ years’ experience in Project / Program Management;

Previous, proven demonstrated excellent team playing abilities with organizational and time management skills;

Excellent client-facing and internal communications skills;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Relevant experience leading custom engineered projects;

Technical knowledge of engineered robotic welding systems;

Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements;

Ability to understand system layouts and/or technical manuals;

Ability to develop and deliver presentations;

Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures;

Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to project team;

Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities;

Knowledge of the operating practices of fabrication and manufacturing;

Ability to assess contract compliance and product/service quality;

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and

Strong working knowledge of Project Management Tools like Smartsheet or Microsoft Project is a plus.

Nonessential Skills and Experience:

Safety (OSHA, SDS), ANSI (RIA) Standards;

Microsoft Office Suite;

ERP Software (Epicor);

Smartsheet Project Management Software;

CAD Software (Solidworks, PTC Windchill, PTC Creo); and

PMP certification a plus.
