Summary
Lincoln Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a Business Development & Sales Senior Manager. This position plays a pivotal role supporting Lincoln's Additive Manufacturing business. The Senior Manager leads business development activities by building key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals, and maintaining knowledge of current market conditions. **MUST be a US Citizen.
The Senior Manager establishes the strategic sales goals and formulates plans to makes sure goals are met. In addition, key responsibilities include:
• Researches prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursues leads, and follows through to a successful agreement.
• Communicates and builds relations with new customers on behalf of Lincoln Electric Additive Solutions.
• Understands target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts, and which market strategies can be used to attract clients.
• Creates quote proposals for customer inquiries and requests for quote
• Tracks and maintains customer relationship through order and delivery
• Develops business cases for additive manufacturing
• Collaborates with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure that requirements are met.
• Maintains relationships with current clients and identifies new prospects.
• Provides technical knowledge, sales and estimating to existing customers. Includes providing assistance to marketing and communications.
• Possess a strong understanding of value proposition, product offering, competition in the industry, and positioning.
• Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on competitors.
• Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.
Education & Experience Required
• Bachelor's degree in sales, engineering or marketing required.
• Ten years proven track record in business sales or related market.
• Established organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting.
• Demonstrated presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated analytical skills and strategic thinking skills.
• Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements.
• Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner.
• This position requires traveling.
