Summary
Lincoln Electric has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our Cleveland headquarters. The Administrative Assistant will provide key support for admin functions for the Specials & Testing Services department thus assisting team on improving departmental metrics and Customer Service.

What You Will Do
- Perform administrative duties for the Specials & Testing Services department and department members.
- Create and maintain MS Office Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files as needed/assigned.
- Process Customer Purchase Orders in SAP.
- Gather data, records and generate various reports as required.
- Provide assistance for Work Instructions and maintain Work Instruction process for the department.
- Coordinate on assigned orders manufacturing, testing and certification, including issuing of manufacturing instructions, testing instructions, and preparation of certification documents.
- Order and maintain office supplies used in the department.
- Provide support for WELD team as needed.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.
Education & Experience Requirements
- 3+ year’s relevant experience
- Minimum high school diploma; Associate degree preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with all levels of the organization.
- Must be able to do general math well enough to keep the records associated with this job.
- Ability to handle information accurately and in a confidential manner.
- Completes a variety of atypical assignments, and is capable of multi-tasking. Proposes improvements to processes.
- Preferred to be able to understand and interpret industrial specifications and procedures (such as ASME,AASHTO, military, specific customers, etc.).
- Preferred to have a working knowledge of Consumable Division Special Order procedures, products, and systems.
- Computer proficiency, including use of Microsoft Office, SAP and other software.
- Must be self-motivated, and dedicated to safe work practices and product quality.
