Change Management Coordinator

Overview
Implement projects and CRMs by taking over the replenishment needs of both buy and make parts, adjusting planning parameters, control inventories and minimize scrap.
Responsibilities
- Review change sheet and follow up on items that require special tracking.
- Enter updated planner information into computer for new items or changed items.
- Review Planned Orders and worksheets and release needed orders and request purchase orders.
- Lead production activities for material that is obsolete, experiencing mold, die and other tool changes affecting inventory and production, ramped down in demand because of a design chance primarily for a K break, Code Break, Bill of Material change or Permission Note.
- Initiate rejection tags for obsolete items; request cycle counts and perform spot check inventory counts for materials in transitions.
- Coordinate with supply management to determine Supplier Finished and Work in Process Inventories that Lincoln is liable for at the beginning of and for the Product Match Out Plan.
- Develop and implement a discontinuation plan.
- Review CRMs (change requests for the machine division) in the Change Management System Cenit CONNECT and develop the plans to implement the changes outlined in the document.
- Ability to work with other departments including manufacturing Engineering, production Control, Research and Development, Drafting, Supply Management, Master Data and others as required.
- Coordinate the input of information on a Permission Note from Cenit CONNECT.
- Distribute Permission Note notifications and maintain distribution lists.
- Perform any other special projects as assigned by the Manager.
Skills, Aptitude, and Abilities
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience in Materials Management, Purchasing, Engineering.
- Experience in operations planning, materials management and inventory control is required.
- Understanding of replenishment system, lead-time and manual control of the re-order process.
- Proficient in SAP, Excel, Outlook, and Lotus Notes.
- Proficient in using SAP easy document management.
- Capable of understanding blueprints, material list books, tooling requirements and material management methods.
- Above average organizational skills and capable of interfacing with personnel at all levels in the organization.
- Ability to pay attention to details.
- Ability to handle constantly changing set of priorities with strong sense of project ownership.
- An excellent attendance, safety and work record.
Training
- The Supervisor/Manager shall determine when an individual has completed the training and is qualified to assume these responsibilities.
- The Supervisor/Manager shall ensure that the employee receives the following training at the appropriate times:

Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS)
- Understand the Company’s EHS Policy and how it relates to this job.
- Be aware of OSHA and EPA laws and regulations as well as the Company’s Plant Rules and Regulations that pertain to this job.
- Work in a safe manner and observe all company EHS and JHA procedures.
- Follow safe equipment operating procedures and only operate equipment when guards are in place and in good condition.
- Know that the company EHS procedures are contained in reference books, such as SSW Specifications, Plant Rules and Regulations, and Material Safety Data Sheets, which are located in the Foreman’s area.
- Immediately notify the Supervisor if there is any safety hazard, and equiptment not operating correctly, or if there are any questions regarding EHS and JHA procedures.
