PURPOSE:   Our ideal Education Sales Specialist has a strong understanding of the sales process, and excels at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals.  We are seeking a quick learner with strong listening and negotiating skills, and someone with presence who can showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations, representing Lincoln Electric at events, and participating in trade shows, it is essential that our Sales Specialist be approachable and professional. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Qualify, develop, and maintain thorough company and product knowledge, research consumer needs, and identify how our solutions can meet them
  • Generate leads and grow existing relationships with customers and distribution
  • Work with the internal teams to design industry-specific outbound efforts
  • Utilize Salesforce tool to ensure standard processes during all sales stages
  • Generate reports for internal use and analysis by mining information from various sources
  • Respond to pricing inquiries and provide accurate and detailed quotes.
  • Provide marketing support through the distribution of relevant marketing materials, and representation at tradeshows, also performing as a key liaison between departments
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4-Year college degree preferred (business and/or education preferred).
  • 5+ years experience.
  • In person and phone sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, telephone, and organizational skills
  • Experience working with Salesforce (preferred)
  • Marketing experience preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to different cultures while maintaining LECO internal culture.
  • Developed computer skills: Excel, Word, Power Point, and SAP (preferred).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time
