Summary
Lincoln Electric has an outstanding opportunity for an Educational Services Coordinator, which supports the Lincoln Electric Welding School in the areas of first point of contact, managing student records and payments, utilizing weld school policies to provide student services, scheduling students, tours, and maintaining schedules through the Jenzabar software (Student Information System). Additional duties include student registration sales, maintaining compliance with state and federal programs, coordination of weld school events and assisting with career opportunities in the field of Welding.
This would be a highly unique role for someone with admissions/student services experience or technical school program management. Specific responsibilities include:
• Manage student experience by serving as first point of contact, providing admissions services, giving tours, explaining and implementing weld school policies and procedures, review student admissions applications and ensuring all student records are accurate and complete.
• Oversee student attendance records, payment process, academic counseling, graduation and student accommodations based on required documentation, record keeping and weld school policies.
• Audit, manage, maintain and archive student files, prior course schedules and student transcripts as required by state law.
• Responsible for understanding state compliance regulations regarding state approved weld school programs as well as maintaining state correspondence, compliance paperwork and submitted programmatic data.
• Utilize the Student Information System to ensure student data is accuracy, mandatory reports are executed, and state/accreditation agencies receive accurate information.
• Monitor and reply to weld school e-mails, phone calls and student academic verification requests while ensuring compliance with the weld school student data privacy policy. Responds to inquiries and addresses critical compliance Issues and disclosures with prospective/current students.
• Coordinate internal attendance/registration process and payment of Lincoln Electric employees/family members attending weld school classes.
• Maintain weld school job board and schedule potential employer-student visits.
• Manage and ensure compliance regarding the Federal Veterans Administration Educational Benefits Program for veterans/active duty and/or family members.
• Knowledge and understanding of Welding School classes with the ability to promote classes to prospective/current students.
• Facilitate day-to-day clerical logistics of the Welding Technology and Training Center

o Manage Facility office supplies
o Support Facility manager as needed to maintain a vibrant up-to-date facility presence
Education & Experience Required
• Bachelor's degree preferred or minimum of 4 years admissions/student services or program management experience preferably at a Technical School or College.
• Established PC skills with current state-of-the-art software. Knowledge of Jenzabar software preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Publisher)
• Understanding of Veterans Educational Benefits preferred.
• Developed multi-task skills with ability to prioritize and stay on point.
• Demonstrated communication skills verbally and documented. Ability to articulate clearly with students and various levels of management.
