PURPOSE: To design, quote, and provide sales support for Environmental engineered-to-order systems as well as Environmental PNP products.  Work with outside sales reps, distributors, and customers remotely and in person to develop and sell the best solution for the application, while maintaining proper project margins.




  • Grows environmental sales to annual specified target in territory
  • Manages CTA margin to annual specified target
  • Interprets customer applications and requirements, and then develops solution
  • Selects standard equipment and specifications to design the required system
  • Creates detailed proposals for environmental systems
  • Prices systems competitively while meeting margin goals
  • Supports outside sales in presenting quote to customer as required
  • Provides product training to outside sales reps and distributors
  • Assists project team with design information during the project execution phase
  • Assists design engineering group with new system / equipment concepts
  • Provides in-house demonstrations and tours as necessary
  • Supports outside sales reps and distributors for the environmental product line in a designated territory
  • Other duties as assigned by the Environmental Products Sales Manager
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.




  • BS degree in Engineering
  • 3-5 years of engineering experience
  • Experience in Welding, Fume Extraction or HVAC preferred
  • Must be familiar with contract review, design control procedures, bid/specs as they apply to proposals
  • Understanding of project margins, costing and how they affect the business
  • Excellent verbal, written, phone and interpersonal skills with internal and external customers
  • Ability to interface with personnel at all levels of the organization
  • Focused on customer needs
  • Strong organizational, and communication skills
  • Travel up to 35% of time
