Overview of the Program

Step into the creative engine of a global manufacturing leader with Lincoln Electric’s Marketing Internship Program! This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both traditional marketing communications and digital marketing, supporting initiatives that drive brand awareness, partner engagement, and digital transformation. The intern will work closely with senior marketing professionals across content creation, campaign execution, digital asset management, and analytics. 

Potential Projects

Marketing Communication Focus

  • Assist in the creation of high-quality marketing content, including articles, case studies, social media posts, email campaigns, sales enablement tools, and on-demand content.
  • Support the development of content and product promotion for eCommerce, retail, and distribution partners.
  • Help maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic planning.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Assist in managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications for marketing projects.

Digital Marketing Focus

  • Support eCommerce and digital asset management (DAM) initiatives, including metadata tagging, taxonomy cleanup, and content updates.
  • Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns and reporting using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Help create and update eLearning modules and training materials for internal and external users.
  • Collaborate with global teams to communicate updates and support digital enablement programs

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or having achieved a bachelor's degree in graphic design, business, or communications 

  • Eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree in any of the following disciplines: marketing, communication design, public relations, graphic design, or communication analytics
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 
  • Basic knowledge of typography, color theory, layout, web design, animation, and motion graphics 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities 
  • Team-oriented mindset with a desire to support others 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Portfolio or work samples required with application
