PC Board Analyst

PURPOSE:   Diagnose and repair failed PC Boards



  • Diagnose failed PC Boards from in-process and assembly lines down to the component level
  • Repair and retest assembly line and in-process PC Boards with electrical component-caused failures and determine if boards can be restocked
  • Notify QA personnel of defective components, processing errors, or testing problems discovered by analysis
  • Work with QA, R&D, Plant Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve any non-conformance problems associated with PC Boards
  • Enter PC Board failure information into the Quality Assurance database
  • Monitor the repair and rework of PC Boards



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent experience with demonstrated background in both analog and digital circuits
  • Have excellent people, organizational, and communications skills
  • Must have an uncompromising attitude towards quality
  • Excellent attendance, safety, and work record
  • Knowledge of component testing
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Working knowledge of production and manufacturing floor control systems
  • Knowledge of SAP, Excel spreadsheets, AREV database, and Word application
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds on an occasional basis
  • Must be knowledgeable of quality procedures used in the manufacturing department and how they relate to the needs of the customer

If selected for this job, most typically, the pay will be set towards the lower end of the pay range and may vary, depending upon candidate qualifications. Additionally, no compensation increases will be made for lateral or downgrade moves
