Job Responsibilities

PURPOSE: To be able to brush, roll, or spray protective coatings on machinery, structures and equipment throughout the Company.
•    Must be technically competent in all phases of surface preparation and application.
•    Must have the ability to design and execute from verbal instructions.
•    Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment.
•    Painter A - Directs and trains others as required.
•    Must have a good working knowledge of surface preparation, various paints and solvents.
•    Responsible for reporting manufacturing problems to the gang leader or manager.
•    Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.

 

Job Requirements

•    High School Diploma or equivalent
•    Must be able to read and understand specifications and prints.
•    Must possess good organizational skills.
•    Must be a competent rigger.
•    Above average hand dexterity is required.
•    Must be able to install walls or partitions prior to painting.
